MAKING DISCIPLES

Local Outreaches

  • Nursing/assisted living facilities:

We are grateful for the opportunity that we have had over the years to conduct a bi-weekly outreach service at a rehab center in Saddle Brook, where we share the good news of the gospel with residents who attend. A couple of our sisters also lead bible studies at other assisted living/nursing home facilities.

  • Street evangelism;

We have the privilege of evangelizing monthly at a park in the Clifton/Paterson area, where we get to distribute Bibles/tracts and engage people in conversation about eternal things. Many individuals living in this area come from countries where the gospel is not freely preached and Bibles are not readily available. So we are grateful to share the good news of the gospel with them.

  • Join us as we plead for life at the Abortion Clinic:

One of the ways we seek to be salt and light to our community is by reaching out to expectant mothers who are considering taking the life of their babies. One way we do this is by regularly supporting local life-affirming pregnancy centers financially. Another way is by personal evangelism at the door of local abortion mills where we share the Gospel and plead with parents to save the life of their baby. Outreaches are on Saturdays. Contact us for more information.

  • Inner city mission:

We conduct monthly evangelistic services at a Christian mission for men who are struggling with various addictions. This mission in Paterson is committed to helping these men rebuild their lives with the power of Jesus Christ.

Church Planting & Missions

As disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are commanded not only to preach the gospel and make disciples locally, but also to make Christ known to the ends of the earth, so that He may receive honor and glory from people of every nation, tribe, and tongue. For this reason, we at BOL are committed to church planting and missions. In 2019, we were able to send an elder and some members to begin a church in the city of Kearny (learn more about it here).  We also support a number of missionaries across the world who are involved in church planting and training indigenous pastors.
