In this chapter, Paul exhorts Timothy to pray for all people so that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life. We are to pray consistently for *all* including those who are leaders in society, false teachers, or even our enemies. The Bible should be our primary guide to prayer; As we draw closer to our Savior through His word in prayer, sins and needs will be revealed in our life. Even though we may not see the results of our intercessions here on earth, we may one day be surprised on just how the Lord answered our prayers once we see Him face to face.
