While here on earth, we are inclined to view things from an earthly perspective and not often do we remember that there is a thrice holy God seated on a throne that is above every throne here on earth. In Revelations 4:1-11, John sees God’s glorious throne surrounded by 24 elders and 4 heavenly beings worshiping God all day and all night, never ceasing to praise Him. This text challenges us to focus on God and His attributes in our daily lives and to dethrone man so we can give God the worship due His name.
