All else flows from these words, “In the Beginning.” God defines Himself as the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. It is most comforting to know that the One who is sovereign over all creation and the universe is also sovereign in the affairs of men. Remember that as He alone was in the beginning, so He is at the beginning and end of your greatest trials.
