Resurrection day reminds us that nothing is impossible for the God who raises the dead. Easter is the climax of the gospel where we see God’s nature and power reflected through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In this text, we learn that even in the midst of trials we are able to rejoice because God saved us from the penalty of sin, we are being saved from the power of sin, and He will one day save us from the presence of sin forever. Because of Jesus’ sacrifice on that cross we can proclaim it is finished! He has risen! Amen.
