In the cross, Christ won the victory over and vanquished His enemies. In His resurrection and ascension; He led captivity captive; and at Pentecost, He gave gifts to men.
As the sovereign King of kings, He distributes these gifts as He wills to His church in order for His church to work together to display the unity of the Spirit. Unity is not negated by variety, nor does variety suggest a lack of unity; rather Biblical unity flourishes in the environment where a diverse variety of gifts are employed.
Do you know your spiritual gift? Are you making every effort to discover, nurture and use that gift in the context of the body Christ, unto the glory of God?
