Elders

Joseph LoSardo

A native of New York, Pastor LoSardo was saved by the grace of God in 1986 after hearing the Gospel from his brother, while pursuing a career in scientific research. He was ordained into the ministry in 1995 and served as the Associate Pastor of a large Messianic Congregation for over 8 years before planting Bread of Life Fellowship along with William Poss in July 2003. He and his wife and daughter live in Bergen County NJ.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. – Galatians 2:20

Damien Garofalo

Damien believed on Jesus during childhood and began preaching as a teenager. He pursued the ministry early on while God took him on a detour through teaching high school in private and public schools. He came to Bread of Life in 2009 and was ordained an elder in 2014. By God’s grace and wisdom, Damien is now blessed to lead the church planting endeavor in Kearny, where he resides with his wife Sara and children: Aidyn, Isaiah, Mikayla, and Jakoby.

The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. – 1 Timothy 1:15

Elias Adamo

Having immigrated to the States from the Middle East as a teenager, Elias was saved by the grace of God in his early 20’s from a life of sin by reading the scriptures. He finds it a great joy to serve God’s people as an elder. He also longs to see the gospel spreading and biblical churches established among the Arabic speaking here and abroad. He is blessed with a godly wife and 5 wonderful children.

For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. – Philippians 1:21

Ibrahim Haro

Ibrahim was born and raised in Syria where he came to know the Lord as his Savior in 1987. A year later he immigrated to the United States where he is a practicing podiatrist. He served as a bi-vocational pastor of an Arabic church in Paterson, NJ for ten years prior to joining Bread of Life Fellowship in 2020, and was ordained as an elder in 2023. He is married to his wife Vicky and has three sons.

And He died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for Him who for their sake died and was raised. 2 Corinthians 5:15

Always in Our Memories

James Montesano (known affectionately to many of us as Jimmy) was saved in 1991. He was a gifted guitarist and used his talents to lead worship at Bread of Life Fellowship since 2004. He also taught the Word and preached through the books of Genesis and most of Exodus before going to meet his Maker on August 31, 2020. We sorely miss his gifts of encouragement to the body!
