What does the thought of being rich do for you? You may say that you aren’t tempted to accumulate wealth, but are there other things of this world that you believe will give you fulfillment? Are you content with what you have, striving to live with integrity, or do you want more? What is truly desired in a person? Wealth? Fame? Fortune? Let the Word of God be our teacher:
“What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar.” (Proverbs 19:22)
