Israel prospers in the land of Egypt. Not only did Israel prosper, but Pharaoh prospers, the Egyptian people prospered, and most importantly verse 27 says Israel prospered. This chapter stresses the famine and it’s severity, but also the end of the famine. We applied this text in various ways to our lives.
