It is only when we properly understand both the personhood and Deity of the Holy Spirit that we will both, relate to and rely upon, Him rightly. To many, the Holy Spirit is a ‘what’ and not a ‘who,’ so it becomes and energy or force that the believer can harness and use to his own end. The Holy Spirit is in fact a real person, whose work it is to get a hold of and use us, not the other way around.
